POST Spray Day

He made it! Hubs volunteered to go first so he could already be done when he saw others’ reactions. The spray itself wasn’t that bad, it was afterward that was painful. By all accounts, the sun was the enemy, and water only makes it worse. It’s pretty late, and (since the last report) the “orange stuff” is still burning the face.

It feels like there are a thousand elves with lighters on my face.

Hubs seemed pretty chipper when I spoke to him. I think he is elated to be finished. This is the last big physical event. I think it’s one of those landmarks that means the whole training process is almost done, which adds to the joy and relief.
